This is the first math class I've taken since 1987, and that was calculus (ick). I'm only in it because it's a pre/co-req for the intro programming class. Technically class doesn't start until next week, but it's an online independent study, so I figured I'd get a jump on it. This was a good decision to have made, because this way I don't have to worry about falling asleep in class and I can work through things steadily rather than in big chunks once a week.

Most things I need to solve that use math tend towards geometry and a healthy does of Pythagoras. And fabric.

And (I know this from experience) you can also get the whole thing done in five weeks if you HAVE to.
