The pie crusts are done! Yay!
And now they need to be frozen. Which is less work on my part and more work on the part of the freezer. And many breads need to be baked, and meat needs to be cooked, and so on and so forth. Plus I have conniving to do, and instigating to plan, and my house is still cluttered.
On the positive side, my evil plan WRT my living room carpet has proven effective--you can't tell where the cat vomit used to be, on the new rug. Have you ever tried to buy a rug while not explaining to the nice salesman that you're trying to match the color of the stain on the rug after you remove the cat barf, and trying to match that color from memory under artificial light? It's a challenge. I tried matching the color of the cat barf to the rug, initially, and that just doesn't work very well. Matching the rug was much better.
Wildlife watch: one Siamese-esque cat, purposefully wandering the hill behind the parking lot the way cats do. I would have gone out to talk to it had I not been in a meeting at the time...
