*snif*

I am still sick. I have been sick since Tuesday. My head is congested, my nose is randomly outgooing, and there's enough pressure in my ears to make just being vertical a challenge. Moving my head at all gives me vertigo. So, I am not out being social and showing off my new boots with 4" heels. Grrr. I hate being sick! It is preventing me from wearing tight revealing clothing and knee-high suede boots with 4" heels and flirting with cute women!

I am going to have to have a party just to wear these boots, I guess. Well, and flirt with cute women.

The only high point in all of this is that The Powers That Be changed the sick time policy, so now we don't have to use from a fixed allotment that accumulates per paycheck. We just take personal time as we need it. I like this policy--it would have sucked to be three days into the negative numbers this early in the year.

And I am my usual basket o' thrills self that I am when I am sick, too. I will admit, I am a huge baby when I am sick, but I will also point out that I don't complain about the fibro very often, which I figure gives me license to whine when I have a head cold (and a bronchial cough, and vertigo).

Ah, well. Time to go make more mint tea and figure out something to do for entertainment that is stationary yet productive.
