Ever since I brought the new keyboard to work (well, new to this system, anyway), I've been waiting for someone from MIS to have to come do work on my system just to see the response. I have Mikey's old really funky ergonomic keyboard, and I have my mouse programmed lefty (yes, it's on the left side). The placement of the arrow keys still gets me, sometimes (the horizontal arrows are on the left, and the vertical arrows are on the right, and if you aren't careful when you type bottom-row characters you hit the arrows accidentally.

So this morning I had my first vic^H^H^H guinea pig--the subnet that our side of TS is on ("our" meaning me, Cal, and Kristine) seems to have fallen off the external router, so we could get to all our internal sites but nowhere else. Called the helpdesk, and Brian came out to see what things were like from this side of the universe. He was very confused. :-)

On the plus side, I have some ideas on how to get the transmission fluid off the driveway (Google is your friend) and absolutely none on what to make for dinner except that dinner must include a mango somehow. Which is farther along than I was this morning, when I had no idea of either.
