It lives! My creation lives!
And all three cats were there when I got home. So life is good. :-)
I'm not sure which should disturb me more, that I couldn't figure out that the lyrics for yesterday (and the day before) were from "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" or that the VP of sales did.
On second thought (and second tasting), the yogurt didn't quite turn out like it was supposed to. It's just not tasting quite right, and it's still quite runny. Ah, well. Back to the drawing board. Perhaps the cats will like it. I think maybe I injured the bacteria or something, because it's too soupy and not nearly tart enough.
And there were cleaning fairies, and Koshka was thoroughly petted (for a little while, anyway), and there was a variant of a chicken tagine with the nifty preserved lemons that I found at Whole Foods, and the olives that were alongside them, and instant couscous, and beer, and it was yummy. Extraodinarily late, but yummy. And the beginnings of watching of the spiffy edition of The Two Towers and trying to figure out which scenes got added and which not, and discovering that the option to select scenes does not actually just play the scene, but plays the movie starting with that scene. Which is somehow not quite right.
