No new garb for 12th Night. Feh. But A&S supplies are packed. I will pack when I get home, and then I will have a snack and go to bed so that I can get up in the morning to drive to site. Must remember to run past money machine on the way home to get cash to go buy prizes for A&S at merchants. Yes, I know, I should have worried about that earlier. I did. I didn't find anything at Boar's Head. So there. Nyah.
Not sure if I'm going to wear garb to site or not. It makes more sense to do that, because then I have less to carry, but conversely then I need to drive in a long dress and a cloak. Also I need to figure out which shoes I am going to wear, and find hair stuff. And decide if I am going to give out nifties to people this year or not. I am thinking that I am not, simply because I have no time nor inspiration. I should, however, remember to pack my bag of dye samples to show Christiana.
When I was shopping last weekend I bought a couple of cans of crabmeat, thinking that it would be nifty in salad. I was wrong. It's kind of nasty, actually. Canned crabmeat together with a cherry tomato tastes almost exactly like the shrimp salad that was a summer supper when I was growing up. It's nothing special. But now that I have some (I think I have a couple more cans), D and I can make the crab waffles in the expensive $2 cookbook that he's been wanting to make for the last couple of years now. If I want crab in salads I think I will have to use frozen crab instead. Which, since I have some in the freezer, is ok with me.
I also need to think of some way to cook the salmon plank that's buried in the freezer. After it's thawed, of course.
