I appear to be feeling particularly ranty this morning, and the headache that's trying to happen isn't helping.
Grammar and spelling manglings are some of my pet peeves.
"Loose" is what you get when something isn't tight.
"Lose" is what happens when you don't win.
Bated breath, not "baited" (unless, I suppose, you've been eating small fish).

"Sight" is vision. "Site" is a place. "Cite" is a citation.
"They're" is the contraction for "They are". "Their" is the possessive form of they. "There" is a location.
