pixel39Well, I didn't intend to be non-functionally sick on Monday, but these things happen. David came by in the afternoon and brought his Scrabble set, so we played a game with real scoring, not the abbreviated scoring from the Zaurus. And I won. Again. I suppose it's a trade-off, really--he wins Boggle, and I win Scrabble. Probably some deity making up for that Q, Z, X, and J for three turns in a row.
I am still hoarse, but finally audible. It's a change.
And then there's the little matter of what day today is. It would have been my parent's 36th wedding anniversary today, something I only realized when I looked at the calendar this morning when I came in. The wedding anniversary isn't something you pay a whole lot of attention to when you're a child, after all, the date doesn't really have any significance to you.
Sigh.
