Man. I feel inadequate. I know that I read #2 in Karen Cherewatuk's Lit to 1650 class, but the only OE I know by heart is "Wolf." So I'll guess a random bit of "Beowulf," which is of course anonymous. Right?

And #4 is "The Highwayman," which was not written by Loreena McKennit, nor was it written by L.M. Montgomery; darned if I remember the guy who wrote it.
