I camp out on the far point--sort of across from and past the Lost Boys, out that way. It's pretty far from everything, and they stopped putting portajohns out in the final turnaround so the morning hike to the potty is kind of extreme, but it's quiet and sparsely populated. If you have a battery-powered weed whacker or something like that, and you have room for it, you might think about bringing it. They cut the grass fairly short close to all the roads, but when you get farther than about 10 feet from a road, the grass will be pretty tall.
Also, you will probably want to avoid camping in treelines. Everyone always wants the shade, but they're full of poison ivy and ticks.
