Those of you familiar with the road system of the metropolis where I reside will understand what I mean when I talk about the crosstown, and the crosstown commons. Or, if you're my co-worker, Spaghetti Junction. Anyway. The lane that continues onto the commons vs. the exit lane for Lyndale. It's usually backed up to hell and gone, because you've got two lanes worth of traffic trying to get onto the commons and then move over onto 35. It's ugly. And there's always a fair crop of jerks who cruise down the exit lane and cut in over the solid white line at the last minute. The only vehicles allowed to do this are buses. Most of the ones doing this aren't. So yesterday the staties had it staked out, and they were waving people over pretty steadily. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling to watch the ass in the semi who'd just barged in get pulled over.
