When the frost is on the Pontiac...

I had to scrape frost off my car windshield this morning. *sigh*

I think the new growth on the roses might have suffered. Don't know about the herbs or the tomatoes until I get home tonight. The raspberries are probably ok--last year I was picking them in December, after several frosts, so I'm not overly concerned. At least the frost means fewer yellowjackets to eat them.

Finding 13mm black silk ribbon is darned near impossible. Heck, finding 13mm silk ribbon locally at all is pretty much impossible. Feh. At least we have a backup plan.

I may be scraping MY windshield tomorrow morning. Such things are hinted at, darkly, in weather reports today.

Hope the plant life comes through OK

Plant life looked like it was ok. Realistically, next year I need to start the tomatoes much, much earlier and keep on top of pinching the basil back. I sort of let it get away from me, and when you let it go and flower the leaves get much smaller.
