Ran errands today--it was exciting. Or not. Drugstore, pet store, Foam Teapot. The Annex will be Happiness Patrol Pink. That's not what *they* call the color, but it's what *I* call the color. Heh.

I have not done any holiday shopping. This is on purpose. And I am a lot happier because of it.

It is sunny, which is a good thing, even though the wind chill is 5F at the moment.

There is a social event tonight which I am not attending, and then another one that I really would like to attend but don't know about yet. We'll see how I survive painting.

My neighbor across the street is mowing his lawn. *shakes head*

Now I must change into painting clothes and descend to cover walls with "Pink Bliss".

Don't think so. My singing is banned in several countries as being against the Geneva convention, but AFAIK glitter is not. When I asked MJ about color preferences, she indicated that she preferred a more intense color rather than the fairly pale theme I'd originally thought to go with. I didn't want to paint it *too* dark, because the whole point of painting it in the first place was to make it brighter than it was.

There is a social event tonight that I was technically invited to... but only because not inviting me would have been really obvious, and the person in question really wants everything to *seem* okay, when they are not.

In true Minnesota fashion, I could have gone... but chose nto to because it *is* her birthday party, and ruining someone's birthday is really low, in my book. So I am going to spend quality time with my bathtub and ROTK dvds instead.
