Eight days and counting...

All I really want to do is go home and curl up under the comforter and go to sleep, but first I have to make tarts. Six of them. Then I have to grate cheese, although the part of the cheese grater is being played by the KitchenAid shredder attachment. Still, there are twelve pounds of cheese to be grated. Yeesh.
Although it occurs to me that if I use the grater (and rinse and dry it WELL afterwards) I can run the apples through it and they should come out ok. Can't be any worse than using the microprocessor, and certainly much less of a mess than using the grinder (it was awful--apple juice and pulp EVERYwhere). Hmmmm. Yep, thinking out loud again.
Other people have such deep, philosophical posts. Well, ok, maybe not--I can honestly say I have never had an LJ entry about my pet snail, but since the WWW didn't even exist when I had my pet snail, I am excused. Anyway. I'm just so not deep and philosophical. It takes hours of random babbling for there to be content to my discourse, let alone deep philosophical content. I suppose I should at least consider that it's low-calorie, caffeine-free discourse.
Completely unrelated to anything else (except perhaps extremely tangentially to the pet snail discussion), for those of you who know her, this was our tenth Christmas with Koshka. She's grown a teense in the interim. ;-)
