Jaj Istenem, de fejsze van a fejemben!
Jul. 2nd, 2003 02:15 pmFor some reason known only to her, Iniki decided that she was bored, at around 3 a.m. So she started knocking things off my night table onto the floor. When the Pyxis medallion (pewter, and fairly heavy) hit the floor, I jumped and woke up, and in doing so did something painful to my neck. I discovered this when I woke up later. And she knocked my nice wooden thimble off onto the floor, and I stepped on it in the dark and now it is in pieces. The brat. I hope I can pick one up at WW, elsewise I will be very put out.
Plus she and Koshka got into a fight yesterday when I brought Koshka in from brushing her, although I think that was Koshka who started it--she was already annoyed with me for taking her in, and then Iniki was right there in her face.
Tonight, a vet appointment for Koshka and then working on the scroll that I haven't started yet. I have a bunch of suggestions for painting wrought iron, which I will have to try out. I should be able to get the calligraphy done, at least. Assuming that my neck and shoulders can handle it, that is. And a final rinse or two for the grey Romney, which is in the midst of being washed, and then I need to find something to put it in. I don't know that it will fit in the pillowcase with its other half. There may be some fleece fu that has to happen.
I still haven't been by to collect the elderberry juice, I should do that soon. I have to mordant whatever fiber is going to be dyed with it, so I should do that too. There's instructions on solar mordanting as well as solar dyeing that I've found, I just need to get everything together. And I must buy more silk! More silk! There must be more silk!
Why am I channeling D. H. Lawrence?
