The legend lives on...
Nov. 10th, 2003 01:53 pmTwenty-eight years ago today, the freighter Edmund Fitzgerald was lost with all hands off Whitefish Point, MI. Today at dusk, the beacon at Split Rock Lighthouse will be lit briefly in memorial of the Fitzgerald, her crew, and all the other sailors lost on the Great Lakes.

Not enough sleep this weekend. I blame the cats. And breakfast. You really need to get to Hell's Kitchen early if you don't want to have to wait for hours and hours, but I am not an early riser when I can help it.
The eclipse was nifty, even if it was [expletives deleted for lack of space] cold out.
I am almost to where I need to start knitting the foot of the Incredibly Pink Lucky Sock Replacement. I need stitch holders. Feh. Don't wanna go shopping! Wah!
On the other hand, I suppose there are worse things to shop for than knitting toys.
