There are three possibilities if the mower won't hold a charge: 1] call Sears and see if we're still under contract (I honestly lose track); if so, they should be willing to come out (or let us bring it in) and swap the battery. 2] Buy a new one. 3] Buy a new one that's gasoline powered this time.
I don't really advocate #3, as much as the whole battery-charge-running-out thing is occasionally a pain.
#2 might make sense if there are newer models with NiMH or LiON batteries and longer battery lifetimes.
