Except that most of them are relevant to current interests. Usually it isn't an issue, but the Hall has been discussing Pennsic, and who wins it, and how often the Mid has won it, and such related topics, for the last week and such. And now, all the people returning get to weigh in with their repetitive nonsense. I'm not actually reading it (or a number of other threads on other lists, for that matter), but Mikey, being the list admin, gets to read it in case he has to deliver a smackdown to somebody who has crossed the line.
