Background noises.

Very odd call today--guy called with an install problem. From a machine shop, or, rather, the machine with the problem was out on the shop floor. He was in the office. So, background noise was typical machine shop sorts of noises--machines, guys talking. Then I hear Miaow! Miaow! Miaow! Miaow! Miaow! Miaow! Miaow! Miaow! Miaow! in the background, really loud. Apparently they have a rodent problem, and the feline was unhappy at having been left all alone on the shop floor all night. He called back later with more questions, and as we're testing things I hear him mutter under his breath "No. There's no more. Go away. No, go away, it's all gone."

Weird. And amusing at the same time.
