Nov. 8th, 2004 12:41 pmWhen an Indian recipe calls for chili powder (or chilli powder, depending on where it was published), I should only put in half the amount--Indian chili powder is powdered chili, nothing else. And thus it's a bit hotter than Mexican, which has other stuff in it.
