That's as may be, but it's still a frog.

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] caoilfhoinn.

The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other.

Ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.

Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

why are you such a bad influence on me?

[identity profile] pixel39.livejournal.com 2004-11-10 02:34 pm (UTC)(link)
See, I don't consider myself a bad influence. Some people consider you a bad influence on *me*. So we're probably even. :-)

it is all part of the sex appeal plan

[identity profile] splagxna.livejournal.com 2004-11-10 03:00 pm (UTC)(link)
why mikey? =)

[identity profile] pixel39.livejournal.com 2004-11-10 03:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah. Why *not* Mikey?

It made sense at the time. It still makes sense.

[identity profile] splagxna.livejournal.com 2004-11-10 03:05 pm (UTC)(link)
yes, but makes sense why?

ahem. this was not an entirely silly comment (although a lot silly). i like you both very much, that is not at all the point. i know you - separately, it feels like. had i known you and you were not already a couple, you would not be two people i encouraged to get together.

[identity profile] pixel39.livejournal.com 2004-11-11 07:35 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmm. The problem is that a lot of the *why* has to do with the people that we were then. And I'm not sure I could adequately describe that to you, since I was inside of it. I can say that we had more shared interests at the time--now, we have shared meta-interests. We always did have our own things going on--that's probably part of it too. Allowing the other to have his/her own personhood independent of the relationship, instead of insisting on two halves of one thing.

I know, this doesn't really answer the question, but I have never been good at huge umbrella vagueness. Specifics, I can answer. Generalities, not so much.

'sokay.

so it wasn't mikey's overwhelming sex appeal, then?

[identity profile] pixel39.livejournal.com 2004-11-11 08:37 am (UTC)(link)
I am much more attracted to brains. Cuteness helps, but if there's nothing behind the eyes it doesn't matter how dreamy they are.

[identity profile] splagxna.livejournal.com 2004-11-11 08:39 am (UTC)(link)
i definitely get that one.

Is the cake-making just a fun hobby for you, or something you might want to do on a more steady basis?

[identity profile] pixel39.livejournal.com 2004-11-11 07:37 am (UTC)(link)
If it was a guaranteed thing, then I would probably consider it as a real thing. [At the moment, there's not even enough time for it as a hobby, which is sad, but life is like that sometimes.] If it became too much work then it wouldn't be fun anymore, which is why it would have to be a guaranteed thing for me to even consider it. But I don't want to poison something I enjoy by making it into work.

[identity profile] splagxna.livejournal.com 2004-11-11 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
...just skimming, i interpreted this as 'if it became work for me i might be tempted to poison my cakes.'

ahem.

:-P

Ok, here goes, and with as much sympathy as I can muster...
How is losing Mom affecting you at this point?

[identity profile] pixel39.livejournal.com 2004-11-12 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
Not gonna answer this one. Too complicated.
