On the plus side, A in Forensic Science, A in Windows XP. I am allowing myself five minutes of gloating before I start stressing about this term.
Class starts tomorrow. Statistics. Whee. I have a shiny new calculator. Can you tell I'm excited about this?
At least it's at Midway, where I don't have to pay for parking.
Wednesday is the OS class--linux and solaris this term. Hopefully it's improved since last semester--we heard nothing good from the people in the Windows class (262) who were also in 264.
Computer Security is an independent study. I'd mused aloud that dropping the ethics class and the criminal procedure class probably meant no papers this term. I should know better than to say this sort of thing where the gods can hear me. Ran into one of the other ICS students while acquiring books, he took the class last semester and said there's a lot of writing in it. I printed out the syllabus and intro ppt lecture and all the other related papery things. Yep. The magic phrase "term paper" appears more than once. I am thrilled beyond belief. No, really.
I detest term papers. With a passion.
